Police and Firefighters were called to a three vehicle traffic collision in Thorpe Arnold on Saturday night.
Crews from Melton Mowbray and Southern fire stations were mobilised following a call to fire control at 19:24 from police who alerted them to the incident.
A Leicestershire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "Call received from Police advising of Road Traffic Collison involving 2 vehicles.
Upon arrival this was confirmed as a Road Traffic Collision involving 3 vehicles with no persons trapped. Police and Fire Service in attendance."
A 43 year old man arrested in connection with the incident has been released pending further enquiries.
A Leicestershire Police spokesperson said: "Officers were called to Waltham Road (A607) in Thorpe Arnold, Melton, just after 7.20pm on Saturday (5 November) after a car was involved in a collision.
Damage was caused to four stationary vehicles during the incident. A 2-year-old boy who was nearby with his father, sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
A 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and has since been released pending further enquiries."
