Plans have been submitted to Melton Borough Council to erect a three storey building comprising of 38 retirement apartments and 8 dwellings on a former Melton car park.
The plans were sent to Melton Borough Council planners on 23rd December but were only validated this month and notices displayed at the site and some residents written to.
The plans have been submitted under reference 24/01194/FUL for the former car park at the top of the Cattle Market site on Scalford Road in Melton.

Morro Partnerships has submitted plans to the local authority and say that the buildings will be finished in a mix of red brick and render with a grey and brown tile roof.
The application says the plans are to include 27 one bedroom flats/maisonettes and 8 two bedroom of market housing and 7 houses in total, 6 three bed and 1 two bedroom.
The site will also include 1 two bedroom house and two one bedroom flats/maisonettes and 1 two bedroom of affordable housing ownership.
