A pedestrian was taken to hospital on Friday with serious injuries after a collision involving a lorry.
Emergency services were called to the incident at the junction with Sage Cross Street just after 1pm on Friday afternoon following reports of a collision at the junction of Windsor Street.
A Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Spokesperson said on Friday afternoon: "We received a call at 13:01 to an RTC on Sherrard Street, Melton Mowbray. Crew from Melton Station are in attendance and Ambulance and Police aware."

The Air Ambulance was also called to the scene along with Police and a Fire crew.
The road was re-opened at around 5:30pm on Friday evening.
A Leicestershire Police Spokeswoman said: "Officers were called at 12.56pm on Friday (28 January) to Sherrard Street, Melton, following a collision involving a lorry and a pedestrian.
East Midlands Ambulance Service were also in attendance.
The male pedestrian was taken to hospital following the incident with serious injuries. No other injuries were reported."
Police have confirmed that enquiries remain ongoing.
