A number of people were arrested yesterday followinig the execution of a warrant at an address in Melton.
Four men aged 18, 25, 30 and 44 were arrested at the property in Blyth Avenue, Melton, along with a 29 year old woman and a 17 year old boy on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
Police recovered a large quantity of drugs from the property which were believed to be class A drugs.

The warrant was executed under Section 8 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act, following concerns raised in relation to criminal activity happening at the address. Following the arrests a large hunting knife and machete were also seized from the property.
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police said: "We rely on the community to pass us information regarding suspicious activity, especially in relation to county lines and cuckooing, which affects the most vulnerable in our communities.
Please continue to pass on information to us in relation to the sale and distribution of drugs in the area. If we know about it we can act upon it."
The spokesperson confirmed to NEMM today (Friday) that all 6 people have since been released on police bail while further enquiries are carried out.
