A 33 year old man has been charged after driving a motor vehicle when his alcohol level was above the limit.
The man was arrested in the Blythe Avenue area of Melton yesterday after officers dealt with a report that a local tradesman was reported to be drink driving.

Officers from Melton Police say that a roadside breath test gave a reading of 102 making the driver nearly three times the legal limit of 35.
A Leicestershire Police spokesperson said: "A 33-year-old man has been charged with driving a motor vehicle when his alcohol level was above the limit"
Police confirmed that the man is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court on 5th September.
To avoid prejudice in the court case, NEMM has decided not to name the man until he has appeared before magistrates.
