A popular Melton hotel and bar is to appear on an upcoming block of a popular TV show which airs at tea time.
The Harboro Hotel in Burton Street, Melton, is set to appear on Channel 4's 'Four In A Bed' next week.
Four In A Bed, which is produced by Studio Lambert for Channel 4, follows four B&B owners as they throw open their doors and take turns to stay with each other, as they compete to be crowned the best hosts and win the show.
Liam Patel, General Manager said: "The filming experience was very exciting, it was great to see how TV programmes are actually created, it takes a lot of hard work to produce entertainment for viewers."
"We actually were approached by Studio Lambert a while back to see if wanted to take part in the programme, to which we decided it would be a great opportunity for us to showcase our business and services."
Filming took place last March and the Harboro kicks off the competition and will appear on Channel 4 starting on Monday 10th February at 5pm.
Liam said he enjoyed visiting all the other locations during filming.
He told NEMM: "The filming took place last march and last for two weeks. My favourite part of filming was having the chance of going to different locations to see other contestants businesses and seeing how their business is ran, as every business even in the same industry is run differently, offering a variety of food options, beverages and accommodation."
The Harboro is well known for showing sports and special occassions in their bar and this will be no different.
Liam said: "We will sure be showing the programme throughout the whole week next week, allowing our customers to see what a fantastic place we are!"
As well as The Harboro the week will feature Liam and Patrycja visiting The Nest Hotel in Hampshire, The Queen's Head Inn in Northamptonshire, and Worlington Hall in Suffolk.
Tune in Monday 10th February at 5pm to see how they get on!
