After a forced break due to Coronavirus the Hamilton Family Fun Run returns on Sunday 21st August.
The fun run will be over a 5km course around the Sandy Lane area of the town starting and finishing at the Hamilton Tennis Club in Tennis Avenue, Melton.

The event will also feature a family fun day including a BBQ, raffle, bouncy castles and slides along with local business stalls and live music.
The Hamilton Tennis Club will also be open supplying alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and is open to members and non-members.
Patrick Wainwright, who helps to organise the event with his Daughter Leonie, said: “It’s going to be a great day and hopefully we can come back with a bang and raise lots of money for charity. You can walk, run or job the course or just come along and support on the day.”
The organisers are also hoping, subject to emergency calls, to have a visit from Melton Mowbray Fire & Rescue Station.
The event has been a firm favourite locally over the years and has raised thousands for charity. This year the charity will be in aid of Cancer Research UK.
All abilities are welcome to join the run and fancy dress is optional.
The fun run starts at 11am and the entry fee is £4.
