Gates Garden Centre at Cold Overton, near Melton, have scooped a prestigious award for their Christmas display.
The garden centre came third in the Garden Centres Association annual Christmas completion.
The garden centres were judged to have the best festive displays in the country and will receive their awards at an annual conference in January 2023.

Phil McCann, who judged the displays, said: “I’d like to say a huge ‘thank you’ to all of the members who entered the Christmas display competition and ‘congratulations’ to Brimsmore Gardens, who were winners in the Garden Centre Category and Garsons Garden Centre, Esher, who took the top spot in the Destination Garden Centre category.
“The standard was incredible with superb displays, exquisite detailing and fantastic retail practices.
“I am very much looking forward to presenting the ideas and images from my visits at the annual conference in Blackburn in January."

Gates also has a farm shop on site with local produce and multiple shopping units including Lakeland.
