Firefighters Take Part In Melton Training Exercise

Firefighters from across the county have been involved in a training exercise in Chapel Street, Melton.

Four fire engines could be spotted at the former college building this morning (Friday) and crews entering the building wearing breathing apparatus.

Firefighters regularly take part in training exercises across the borough to help maintain their skills and techniques.

A Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Spokesperson told NEMM: “Crews from Melton, Central, Eastern and Oakham are carrying out a training exercise on Chapel Street in Melton Mowbray”
