Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service (LFRS) have opened recruitment for Wholetime Firefighters at a number of stations across the county.
Whether you’re passionate about making your local community safer, or you’ve always had aspirations of becoming a firefighter, then this could be the job for you.
Callum Faint, Chief Fire and Rescue Officer, said: “This is an exciting and rewarding career with the opportunity to make a real difference to your local community.
“Here at LFRS, we pride ourselves on delivering our service purpose statement of ‘safer people, safer places’, and this role is at the heart of that message.
“As a Wholetime Firefighter, you will respond to incidents, but you will also take part in prevention and protection work in order to help reduce the range of incidents happening in the first place.”
