A person was left trapped in their vehicle for than three hours after colliding with a gravel tipper lorry near Melton.
Fire Appliances from Melton, Castle Donington and a Technical Rescue team from Leicester's Southern station were all in attendance as well as the Air Ambulance.
A call was received yesterday morning (Tuesday) at 7:46am to Melton Road, Burton on the Wolds following reports received to an RTC involving gravel tipper lorry and 1 car.

A Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Spokesperson said: "Upon arrival incident confirmed as 1 tipper lorry overturned on to car. 1 male casualty trapped in car. Fire service digging away ballast and extricating casualty, Fire service, Police, EMAS and Air Ambulance all in attendance."
The casualty was still trapped in the vehicle at 11:12 when the car was winched free of the tipper lorry. The casualty was released from the vehicle at 11:27 and taken to the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham by road ambulance.
