Police and Fire Crews were called to Wilton Road in Melton earlier today (Monday) following reports a trailer had tipped over carrying livestock.
Two fire appliances from Melton Station were mobilised to the incident along with multiple police resources and the road was closed while the incident was dealt with.
The incident happened on a busy day for the service with Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Service declaring a major incident earlier on Monday following heavy rainfall and snow in the morning.

Leicestershire Police confirmed that they received a call just after 11:40am to reports that a tractor and trailer had tipped over which was carrying livestock.
The trailer was carrying a number of sheep and a number of bystanders helped to move them to safety following the incident assisted by emergency services on their arrival.
It's not known whether any of the sheep suffered injuries.
A Leicestershire Police spokesperson confirmed that no injuries had been reported and no-one had been arrested.
