A woman has died following a collision on the A606 Nether Broughton, near Melton, on Friday 2 July.
Police were called at 6.22pm to the incident which involved a black Volkswagen Golf car and a silver Vauxhall Corsa car
The collision happened at the A606 Nottingham Road junction with Six Hills Lane. It was one of a number of collisions on the same road in recent weeks.
A 50-year-old woman, who was a passenger in the Volkswagen Golf, was taken to the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham with serious injuries following the collision.
Sadly the woman died in hospital on Sunday 11 July.

Detective Constable Kasie Carter said: “Sadly a woman has died in hospital following the collision which happened on 2 July.
“Our enquiries remain ongoing establishing the full circumstances of the collision and we have been speaking to a number of witnesses. We do ask however that if anyone does have any information in relation to the incident and has not yet spoken to us that you ensure you make contact with us.
“This includes anyone who saw either of the vehicles prior to the collision, anyone who witnessed the incident and anyone who has dashcam footage from the area at the time.”
No other serious injuries were reported following the collision.
