A main road out of Melton is still closed this morning while fire crews remain at the scene of a fire overnight.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service say they were called to a fire close to the A606 in Whissendine which was later confirmed to be a disused and unoccupied house.

At its height crews from Melton, Oakham, Eastern and Loughborough were in attendance.
The road remains closed between the Whissendine turn off (Ferneley’s Ice Cream) and Langham junction while investigations get underway.
Local diversions are in place but are extremely busy. Drivers are being urged to find alternative routes where possible.
Leicestershire Police and the Fire Service have been contacted for updates.
