The A46 in Leicestershire is closed northbound between the A607 (Cossington) and the B676 (Six Hills) following a multi vehicle collision between a Heavy Goods Vehicle and a bus.
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Service said: "We received a call at 10:09 to reports of an RTC involving two vehicles. Appliances from Birstall, Eastern and Central are in attendance, alongside Technical Rescue, Leicestershire Police and East Midlands Ambulance Service."

National Highways have confirmed they have resources at the incident to assist with traffic management.
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police confirmed that 16 passengers sustained 'minor injuries' and 5 others were taken to hospital as a precaution.
The road is expected to remain closed until later this afternoon (Wednesday) while recovery work is undertaken.
